From teaching in the classroom to teaching with bells, I never dreamed of being a business owner, but I found life moving me in this direction! I have always been a lover of movement and once I discovered the impact it had not just on my physical health, but my mental health I was ALL IN! In December of 2015, I started Warrior Body out of a local gym in the Morgantown area. I had a vision for creating an environment that was fun, yet hardworking and fostered an inclusive community. In 2018 we had the opportunity to move into our current location and we haven’t looked back! The bigger space has given us the opportunity to welcome experienced members along with new individuals with little to no experience in a gym, and find their second home! This location has given warriors alike the ability to make big results, lift some heavy weights, make new friends, and fall in love with moving their bodies!

I’ve been a Warrior for 6 years and a Warrior Body coach for 5 years. I started out looking for a great place to work out but found so much more here!
I love being part of such a strong and supportive community and have discovered that it is my passion to help others reach their full health and wellness potential.
I currently coach Monday mornings at 8:30 and Wednesdays at 4:30 and 5:30. You’ll often find me participating in classes on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday mornings. I’m also the in-house health coach, which I’ve been doing for several years now. I am certified through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and am working on a second certification through Functional Diagnostic Nutrition.

Hi everyone, I’m Janelle! I have been a coach with Warrior Body since summer of 2018!
I currently coach on Thursday evenings, at 5:30 & 6:30. You can find me joining in the workouts myself most weekday evenings at 5:30 and some Saturday mornings!
Outside of the gym you can find me spending time with my family, doing DIY projects or reading!
I love being able to meet new people and helping them on their journey of growing stronger physically and mentally, and just living a healthier life overall!

Hello Warriors and soon to be Warriors!

I began my Warrior Body journey in June 2018, when one of my friends convinced me to give it a try. To say I was skeptic is an understatement; group fitness was just not for me, I was rarely active, and my nutrition was subpar at best. Fast forward to now and here I am, not only a loyal member of this wonderful Warrior clan, but also a coach!

Working out and being surrounded by such a supportive community inspired me to become an:

and I’m not finished yet!

I am passionate about motivating people to be the best version of themselves, realize what their bodies and minds are capable of and know that healthy does not necessarily mean skinny. I strive to provide an accepting, lively, encouraging and at times amusing (Please insert the Rick Flair WOOOOOOOO!!), environment whether I’m coaching or working out.

Hey there, everyone! I’ve been coaching at Warrior Body since April 2019 and have been a Warrior since 2017. “Going to the gym” has been a constant staple since 2013. Generally, you’ll see me coach those early-rising Warriors at 6a, and I’m at 4:30 classes to work out during the week and 9 a.m. on Saturday, which is the best vibe for a class all week!
Life is always trying to work in there to throw you off track and find an excuse from the gym. Acknowledge it, give yourself grace, but don’t forget why you wanted to better yourself, whether you’re new to a gym, coming back after a while, or have been doing it for years.
You’ll also see me doing a lot of operational and technical support at the gym and outwardly to you, including messaging, events, and support of our gym app.

Hi, I’m Amanda. I began coaching at Warrior Body in January of 2021 because I wanted to help others realize what they are capable of physically as well as be a support for all who are on their journeys to become the best versions of themselves.
I believe in the quote “where the mind goes, the body will follow” as oftentimes the most difficult thing in taking steps towards a healthier life is making the decision to start and believing that you can follow through.
When I’m not at the gym, I enjoy being a part of a team on the softball field, walking and/or biking on the trail, or hanging out at home with my dogs, experimenting in the kitchen with recipes for healthier versions of baked goods.
You can find me coaching about every other week on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM and occasionally filling in on Fridays at 6:00 AM or 8:30 AM. Otherwise, you may find me in class sweating and doing hard things with you on Thursdays at 6:30 PM; Fridays at 6:00 AM or 8:30 AM; and Saturdays at 9:00 AM.

I was put in connection with Warrior Body because my best friend’s mom introduced me to Micki. She knew I was in school for exercise science. I have been coaching since January 2021. I chose exercise science because I love fitness and I feel called in life to make a career in it.
I love coaching at Warrior Body because it is a great experience and I love the gym and the people. I enjoy coaching because I love passing on my knowledge to others so they can improve their fitness and hopefully their life in turn.
My favorite quote is a Jocko Willink quote “discipline equals freedom”. I don’t really have any hobbies. I train and spend time with my girlfriend in my free time. I am the Saturday morning coach and sub in for other classes when needed while I am still in school.

I’m Jenny, I have 4 kids 2 girls ages 11 and 9 and 2 boys 6 and 3. We moved to Morgantown in September 2022 for my husband’s job in the WVU athletic department.

I grew up in Utah snowboarding all Winter, moved to Frisco Texas for 5 years then here to Morgantown.

I’m so excited to be a part of Warrior Body! After having my second baby I started CrossFit, it opened a whole new world for me and fitness, I haven’t stopped pursuing it since. I love seeing the confidence pushing through a hard workout instills in people. I recently just started training for my first bodybuilding show and have loved how much it has pushed me out of my comfort zone.

One of my favorite sayings is: “Doubting yourself is normal. Letting it stop you is a choice. If you don’t go after what you want, you will never have it. If you do not ask the answer will always be no. If you do not step forward, you will remain in the same place.”
I got my CPT (certificated personal trainer) a little over a year ago. I can’t wait to see where coaching takes me.

You will find me coaching mostly morning classes with one afternoon class a week!
